Breaking Up is Hard To Do and a Midnight Booty Call

In the middle of night, we heard a hiker’s name being called over and over. As the calls came closer, they identified themselves as being with the Sheriff’s Department. It turns out a hiker had accidentally set off their SOS beacon and the Sheriff’s were there to make sure the hiker was ok ….

After the hole in my hammock expanding overnight I ended up sleeping on the ground, which is never a good thing. Booooooo!

To Warner Springs We Go For Rest and Resupply

After a short 4.5 mile walk to Warner Springs we grabbed Burgers and beers at the Warner Springs Country Club and then went to Crestwood lake where about 10 of us rented a few cabins for the night. It was a much needed break to clean up, resupply and rest up!
